We are thrilled to announce the Barbara Hammer Retrospective, now on view at Filmoteca de Catalunya in collaboration with the International Women’s Film Festival!

The Filmoteca de Catalunya and the International Women’s Film Festival  jointly present a complete journey through Barbara Hammer’s pioneering work, interweaving films by her experimental filmmaker inspirations and collaborators, including Maya Deren, Shirley Clarke, and Joey Carducci. The wide-ranging selection includes Hammer’s short films as well as her feature-length films Nitrate Kisses (1992), Tender Fictions (1995), and History Lessons (2000).
