Barbara Hammer’s film, Pond and Waterfall (1982) will be included in Scratch Collection 2025 presented by Lightcone at Cinéma Laminar Hôtel de Ville on October 9, 2025 at 8:30 pm!

The fourth edition of Scratch Collection, curated by Teresa Castro and Alice Leroy, brings together experimental films that explore the nature of the image from various spatiotemporal perspectives, rethinking environmental histories and the relationships between beings and matter.

Pond and Waterfall will be screened alongside films by Tomonari Nishikawa, Kurt Kren, Inger Lise Hansen, Sandra Davis, Peggy Ahwesh, Marie Menken, and Ian Bourn and John Smith in Reseed: Sowing Trouble, the first program in this year’s series.
