Barbara Hammer, “Double Strength” (1978)

Barbara Hammer’s film, “Double Strength” (1978) will be screened in “We Collapse and Dream Together,” a live score screening and performance event on August 29th at 7 PM at 42 Grand St, New York.

“We Collapse and Dream Together” is a film and performance program about queer and trans futurity as a project of collective imagination. The program features “Double Strength” alongside “Palcorecore” (Dir. Dana Dawud), “ZEROZEROZEROZERO” (Dir. Tempest Creation), “Empire of Ache” (Dir. Lisa Hammer), “Salacia” (Dir. Tourmaline), and “Birth of the Hive Queen” (Dir. Tempest Creation), as well as a performance by Catherine Chen.
