Punk and Fluxus share an attitude of resistance to established norms and celebrate spontaneous, raw creativity. The intermingling and mutual influence of both cultural and creative movements can be seen in various cinematic works. A film program about female self-determination, experimental film technique and narrative structure as well as the subversion of stereotypical representations in a heteronormative society – all in the spirit of the DIY punk ethos. With films by Vivienne Dick and Barbara Hammer, among others.
Followed by a film talk with Anna-Lena Friebe (curator), Sarah Niesius and Maxa Zoller (head of IFFF Dortmund+Cologne)
