Barbara Hammer, No No Nooky TV (1987)

“Magnanrama: Portraits, Networks, and Contemporary Resonances of Nathalie Magnan” will be on view at Villa Arson from February 20 – May 31, 2026!

“Magnanrama,” curated by Mathilde Belouali, is a group exhibition that traces the trajectory of media theorist, filmmaker, and cyberfeminist Nathalie Magnan through the films, artworks, and archival materials that influenced her practice.

Barbara Hammer’s film “No No Nooky TV” (1987) is currently on view in the exhibition alongside works by Nathalie Magnan, Shu Lea Cheang, Cindy Coutant, Chloé Desmoineaux with Bobby Brim and Ada LaNerd, Guerrilla Girls, DeeDee Halleck, Old Boys Network, Paper Tiger Television, Julia Scher, The Yes Men, and VNS Matrix.
