We are pleased to announce that  Barbara Hammer’s works I Was/I Am (1973) and On the Road, Big Sur, California, 1975 (2017) have been recently acquired by Museo Reina Sofia!

Both works will be on view in Museo Reina Sofia’s new exhibition, “Contemporary Art: 1975—Present,” opening on February 18, 2026.
