Barbara Hammer, Gloria’s Eye (1975)

For the third anniversary of the Orange County Museum of Art’s brand new building, OCMA presents 13 Women: Variation VI, an installation of recently acquired works that represent the ways in which the museum honors the past while creating pathways toward the future.

Barbara Hammer’s photographs Self-Portrait, Baja, California (1974, reprinted 2017) and Gloria’s Eye (1975, reprinted 2017) are included amongst works by Eija-Liisa Ahtila, Joan Brown, Sarah Cain, Rineke Dijkstra, Amy Elkins, Ann Hamilton, Donna Huanca, Luchita Hurtado, Nina Katchadourian, Kelly Nipper, Catherine Opie, and Marlo Pascual.

13 Women: Variation VI will be on view from September 10 to October 26th, 2025.
