Sanctus (1990) by Barbara Hammer will be featured in Sexuality Summer School, a public events program hosted by the University of Manchester at HOME in Manchester, UK!

Sexuality Summer School is a week-long event consisting of seminars and workshops for 40 postgraduate students, alongside a program of events which are open to the public. Barbara Hammer’s film Sanctus (1990) will be screened with Laws of Love (1927) by Magnus Hirschfeld in a night of silent films exploring sexuality, biology and history on May 26, 2026 at 5:45 pm. The screening will be followed by a discussion with Jackie Stacey, Professor of Media and Cultural Studies at the University of Manchester, and writer and film curator So Mayer.
