Barbara Hammer, History Lessons (2000)

We are excited to announce that a curated selection of Barbara Hammer’s films are now available for public viewing at Xcèntric at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona!

In celebration of their recent conference series, “Bodies, Gestures, and Communities: Queer Thought in Experimental Film,” Xcèntric at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona has added 11 of Hammer’s films to their catalogue, including “Double Strength” (1978), “Audeince” (1983), “Tender Fictions” (1995), and “History Lessons” (2000), among others.

The films will be available for free viewing during CCCB’s open hours via the Xcèntric Archive. For more information, please visit the link below.
