December 14, 2024; 2pm - Midnight

Le Pacifique, 30 chemin des Alpins

Grenoble, France

Translated from the original French

Between documentary cinema and encounters of all kinds, let’s take a back road to talk about love and friendshipthat is to say, about tremors, displacements, interdependencies, alliances and chosen families… to find strength in the warmth of our bonds.

From 2 p.m. to midnight, the entire journey can be experienced, from the first film to the evening cabaret-dinner, including a radio set with our guests and accomplices, Valérie Gérard, Nathalia Kloos Julia Burtin Zortéa, Marie-Nöelle Bataglia… but don’t worry, we have planned breaks, breathers and little snacks. Put your feet under the table, we’ll take care of the rest!

Films screened will include Barbara Hammer’s Dyketactics.

Both erotic and tender, Dyketactics is probably the first film about lesbian love made by a lesbian, until then terra incognita in the geography of cinema. The year is 1974. Hair blowing in the wind at the wheel of a car, bare feet walking in the grass in the full sun, it all begins with the taste of going on vacation. The spirit of community and the happenings of the 70s emerges strongly from these images, giving a political dimension to their radiant and invigorating eroticism.
